Feeling overwhelmed by the craziness of the world
(and your own life)?

Looking for a simple, easy way back to sanity and your own heart?

 Bracelet for website

Then look no further, sisters.

The Gracelet©

Clinical research has proven that gratitude creates happiness and health:

  • People who describe themselves as grateful enjoy higher vitality and more optimism, suffer less stress, and experience less depression.
  • Grateful people tend to be less materialistic and suffer less anxiety about status or the accumulation of possessions. As a result, they are more like to describe themselves as happy and satisfied.
  • People who keep a "gratitude journal," a list of things they are grateful for, enjoy better health, are more optimistic, and exercise more regularly than the population as a whole.

How the Gracelet© was born, from my life to yours

I was standing in a long long line of extremely stressed people at the bank. And very stressed tellers doing their best to help.

It wasn’t pretty, sisters. I felt yucky in one shake of a lamb’s tail, to quote my mom.
I knew I’d have to do something keep my sanity, pronto. I started fidgeting with my bracelet, and then grace happened: I decided to touch each bead naming something I was grateful for, even on a miserable cold rainy day in a stalled line of out of whack folks.

My shoulders relaxed. My breath softened.

I smiled at the woman in front of me, and she smiled back. I kept going with my gratitudes, and by the time I got to the overworked teller, I flirted with him and left him with a big smile.

The next day I had a wonderful idea. How about creating a Gracelet© to wear everywhere, an easy way to transform grocery store lines and traffic snarls into opportunities for well-being and joy?

Being a jewelry designer, I took my excited self to the bead store. I picked out semi-precious aventurine (green for the heart and for abundance), elegant Japanese seed beads, and a beautiful 24k GF "grateful bead" (gold for the wealth already in and around us), along with an elegant 24k GF clasp. I went home, strung them together while blessing the bracelet, and voila!

"This Gracelet© is right up there with sliced bread, I’m telling you. It’s especially important now —  we need all the help we can get to feel good when everything around us is near total uncertainty. At night before bed, I literally count my blessings. I touch each bead and think of something I’m grateful for. Or if I’m feeling crabby and I look at my wrist, I have a quick moment of gratitude. There’s something about the visual which makes it so much more powerful than simply thinking about what you’re grateful for. Most of the time, all I need to do is look down on my Gracelet©, and I remember all the wealth that’s in my life already. How sweet it is!"
~Janet Luhrs, author of The Simple Living Guide

The Gracelet© invites sanity and grace

Well, ladies, this beautiful bracelet has saved this gal’s skin during these crazy times. I use it:

  • During those times that I'm most likely to either fume with frustration (gnarly traffic, looong lines, glacial holds on the telephone) or feel overwhelmed with the pain of the world, like watching the news
  • As a simple "grace and sanity" practice. At home I "count my blessings" on my Gracelet© for 5 minutes or so. It gives me a major attitude adjustment for the better. And centers, relaxes, and renews me.

The great thing is that now whenever I look down at my Gracelet© (I wear it all the time since it's so pretty and so helpful), I feel good. And start remembering all I have to be grateful for.

So much easier than a "gratitude journal"

For years I’ve kept a journal by my bed because I’m “supposed” to write down what I’m grateful for before going to sleep. Well, gals, I do that about two nights running every year or so. I don’t keep it up because, well, it just feels like another wretched list I have to make. And who wants to make yet ANOTHER list at 10 pm?
So now I, with my Gracelet©, get all the wonderful benefits of a gratitude practice, without the hassle.
And I get them whenever I most need them: when I’m most grinchy, harried, and overwhelmed.

It’s so simple. And so easy.

This is so wonderful, I thought, why not offer this gift to others?
